Dear all,

I'm wondering if someone could recommend a textbook that caters to GCSE or IGCSE Mandarin. My daughter, who is in secondary school, has been studying Mandarin in Shanghai for four years now, and studying for the GCSE/IGCSE would seem to be one of the next logical steps.

Also, I have another question. I understand that A level Mandarin comes in different levels, e.g. ab initio, etc. but what about GCSEs? Is there just one level? And if so, which A Level course does that lead into?

Thank you, dear Mandarin teachers, for your help.

With sincere regards,

Samuel Markoff
