**Apologies for cross posting***

The West Country Career Development Group Quiz night is back for another year.

Fancy getting a team together from your workplace (or friends & family) to test your knowledge against others? Then come along. As well as being a fun night and great way to meet others, it raises money for international library projects.

Date: Thursday 27th November 2008

Time: 6.30 for 7.00 start - finish 9.30 - 10.00ish (we know people have to get transport so this will be quite flexible!)

Venue: Osborne Clarke, Bristol, directions can be found at:

http://www.osborneclarke.com/our_offices/uk/bristol/1332_directions.asp

(As you can see it's very close to Bristol Temple Meads station for those of you coming by train). There is pay-and-display parking available nearby (as described at the above link).

Teams of 4-5 people (entry £10 per team (pay on the night) - that's about £2.50 each!)- bring friends, family, colleagues - the questions will cover the usual range of topics in typical Quiz style - you don't have to be a member of CILIP/CDG. The cost of entry includes nibbles and soft drinks but you can bring along a bottle if you wish.

If you are interested in coming, but don't have a team, email us and for £2.50 we'll match you with other individuals or a team.

There will be prizes for first and last place, as well as for most unusual team name.

Register teams (numbers and names if you can) by Friday 21st November by emailing us on [log in to unmask]

Look forward to seeing you there! Please find a poster to print off and display in your workplace, to help get a team together

The Quiz is organised by the Career Development Group (Westcountry Division), a group of CILIP, the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
