Lots of people at the national museum where I worked were members of Prospect, which has a heritage group:
I am still a member now that I am freelance, although I haven't actually had to call on their services recently.

Hi All
Hopefully something someone might be able to advise on: do any of you know of union membership that would be suitable for 'museum education officers' and 'freelance heritage education consultants'?
