perhaps this will encourage lecturers to make students take their own notes and stop giving any handouts???

I agree. Academics know in advance what they are to examine and therefore what they must teach, they can therefore prepare in advance of the lecture and give out handouts appropriately.

Hello,  I wonder what people think of my view on this matter: that obtaining materials in alternative format for disabled students should  be a shared responsibility? So, tutors are responsible with support from myself and luckily, we have good support from the library. What is your view - short answers on a post card please : - )
