Dear Tom, Great news and I echo Gabby's sentiments! Please keep us all updated on your progress. best regards Simon ------------------------------------------------- Simon Mahony Research Associate Digital Classicist Centre for Computing in the Humanities King's College London 26 - 29 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5RL http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=WC2B_5RL Tel: +44 (0)20 7848 2813 Fax: +44 (0)20 7848 2980 [log in to unmask] http://www.digitalclassicist.org/ http://wiki.digitalclassicist.org/ ________________________________________ From: The Digital Classicist List [[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Gabriel Bodard [[log in to unmask]] Sent: 13 September 2008 14:43 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: NYC digital practice seminars Dear Tom, I think this is a great idea, and I hope that I'll be able to pass through New York and coincide with one of these seminars at least once. :-) I hope that you'll attach the name of "Digital Classicist" to your seminars in some form, as I shouldn't like for the London seminars to monopolize that label. (It's great to be able to say that the Digital Classicist runs seminars sponsored by CCH and ICS; it would be even better to be able to add ISAW--and anyone else interested--to that list.) Dijklas isn't owned by or geographically tied to London or anywhere else. Do keep us posted, and let us know if there's any way that I (personally) or the Digital Classicist (collectively) can help with or contribute to this seminar.
