The Cremation in Scotland Project is led by Professors Douglas Davies of
Durham and Hilary Grainger of London who is an architectural historian, along with Dr Peter Jupp who has written the standard history of English cremation and Mr Stephen White who is an expert on Law relation to death and funerals. As well as working towards an integrated account of cremation in Scotland this venture will also analyze the interdisciplinary process operating within the project itself.
