Uncertain whether to witness this supposedly 47 minute early "feature" film by a director
whom I've followed since seeing his later "Loves of a Blonde" during its repertory
circulation, in retrospect it is still resonating formally with me. No plot, which must
have crippled opening distributional possibilities, but one intuits feature film expectations
while viewing. Very distinctive editing of two diverse Czech musical auditions. Ur
mashups. Re-view Alexander Kluge's longer documentaries from the same period.
