Hi all,

We have a couple of queries that we would like some help with if
possible!

Currently the University is redesigning all of its academic programmes
to change from a 12/24 credit structure to 15/30. PDP and employability
are included in the priorities for staff to consider as part of the
redesign. We are producing materials for staff to take 'off the shelf'
and adapt for their particular courses. To avoid re-inventing the
wheel...

1) Does anybody have any module outlines, learning outcomes,
assessment or marking criteria for PDP or its component activities that
they wouldn't mind sharing with us (we will be more than happy to share
anything we come up with once completed!)

The second request relates to ePortfolio. As part of the redesign the
university is going to use Mahara for document sharing and storage and
since most of our academic staff are likely to use this platform and
therefore have familiarity and confidence with it, it might be easy to
adopt it as the university ePortfolio for students...

2) Does anyone have any experience of using Mahara as an
ePortfolio? We would welcome as much information about it as possible,
positives, negatives, gripes, concerns, successes etc!

Thanks in advance

Jo (and Ruth)
