Hello,

I wonder if you could help in the following:

We still have Moodle 1.8.3 and originally we had a repository for the NLN materials and tutors added these materials to their courses using the Object repository plug-in  of Moodle. At some point in time and space, we decided to activate the IMS_repository-because of the problems encountered with the way some NLN materials were packaged-, and lecturers started to add the NLN materials to the new courses using that option.

However we still had many objects added to courses via the Object Repository.

During the summer, the following migration took place:

1) The moodle directory and the  moodledata files of our Moodle site were moved to a new server.
2) The database was moved to another server
3) And the repository where all the NLN materials are stored was move to a third file.

Since this migration, NLN materials in old courses, added as objects, can not be browsed. When users try to browse them, the following message appears: "A required parameter was missing".

I have checked the config.php in  the object/repository folder and the config.php for the whole site. I have checked that the repository folder has the right permissions in Debian Ubuntu.

I have checked that the NLN objects are stored in the mdl_object table. Because the message appears when you try to add these objects to a course -you can still browse the objects before adding them- I believe that this may be a problem with the permissions in the folders in which users data and files are kept, the moodledata directory I mean. I don't have access to the moodledata directory, so I cannot check that my assumption is right.

What do you think?

Thank you very much for your suggestions.
