Dear All Possibility of a job in due diligence, in a major investment bank. I work in an investment bank, as a contractor (Canary Wharf).I have been here almost a year. I do due diligence research (companies & people) and then write summary type reports. A considerable part of the job is also commissioning of reports from external suppliers. If you have done the usual type of research on companies, or CV vetting type research, then that is what it is like, to some extent. I worked in a chartered accountants and in a firm of corporate investigators previously, and that experience I have found very useful indeed. Languages are useful. We are looking to recruit an extra member of the team. (There are two people at present). This is a more junior job than mine, so a few years of relevant previous work would suffice, I think. However, the bank uses an agency for this type of recruitment, and you would have to be registered with the agency in order to be considered. The agency is not one of the usual recruitment agencies, it specialises in security type personnel. (My department is Corporate Security). The agency has got the job already. This agency has not got information type researchers on its books, hence my email to you today. My CV was found on the internet by the security agency, as I had put my CV on Monster, and that is how I got my current post. (As you might expect, there is an extensive vetting for the successful person).
So, information professionals, is anyone interested? Email me for and I will give you the details of the agency. Regards Julia Johnson
