Dear all I'd be grateful if you could bring this to the attention of any clever bods looking for interesting work and a few months in the beautiful mid-Wales coutryside... We are looking for a GIS analyst for 3 to 6 months of contract work on a variety of environmental projects. Expertise in raster and vector analysis techniques are required, using ArcGIS extensions and/or GRASS. Scripting / model building would also be useful, as would experience with MapInfo Professional and SQL. The work may also include data capture, liaison with clients, and contributing to the production of final reports and maps for publication.We are looking for a start date as soon as possible, preferably in September.
