(NEET) young people aged 16-25 into Employment, Education and Training

and passionate about the potential of young people. Experience in developing and
delivering accredited and personal development training to this target group
will be essential.

The Youth Participation Worker –
YOF/YCF Project will be responsible
for co-ordinating and delivering the Youth Opportunity and Youth Capital Fund
Project in Croydon. This involves ensuring that the project is innovative,
participative, challenging, exciting and enjoyable for the young people. From
facilitating the young people’s management team, to overseeing the financial and
monitoring processes, the post-holder will ensure that the fund is promoted,
steered and owned by young people in Croydon, for young people in Croydon.

The Youth Participation Worker –
Quality Assurance will be responsible for enabling young people to take the lead
in evaluating and quality assuring YOF and YCF projects as well as the wider
Positive Activity programmes provided by the Youth Service. The worker will
involve young people in managing and developing systems of quality assurance,
communicating their findings to other young people and adults and supporting
projects to improve. The post holder will also manage designated part-time
staff.

Support) will work to include and involve young people with Learning
Difficulties and Disabilities in all Active Involvement programmes. Through
outreach, 1:1 and group support and project delivery, the post-holder will
develop and increase the engagement of young people with LDD in Active
Involvement programmes. The post holder will also manage designated part-time
staff.
