Dear Friends: I am happy to announce that Amir Naderi's film "Vegas: Based on a True Story" has been selected for Competition (Venezia 65) at the 65th Venice Film Festival. The film that Amir, Susan Brennan and I have been working on for several years. The film is about a working class family living on the fringes of Las Vegas and are tormented by a con-man who has to destroy them in every aspect of their lives. The film stars Mark Greenfield, Nancy La Scala, and Zach Thomas.
