Statistical Programmer (SAS) - Contract

There are excellent opportunities for Statistical Programmers working in 
contract positions for one of the global giants in the pharmaceutical world, 
known as a leading name in the discovery, development and marketing of 
innovative pharmaceutical products.  Positions are available across all 
therapeutic areas at the company’s office in East Hanover, New Jersey.

JOB ROLE – Principal Responsibilities include: 
•	Providing statistical programming support and validation and help 
set specifications of analysis datasets, pooled datasets, statistical tables, 
summaries, figures and listing for Phase II-IV clinical trials. 
•	Employing standardized programs where applicable. 
•	Providing input into planning documents such as protocol, 
validation plan, and report analysis plan. 
•	Providing outputs for clinical study reports, integrated summaries 
and electronic submissions. 
•	Helping to respond to health authority inquiries for submitted 
dossiers. 
•	Establishing and maintaining sound working relationship and 
effective communications within biostatistics, statistical reporting and clinical 
research.  

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
•	BA/BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, 
Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences, or related field(s). 
•	MS in Statistics a plus. 
•	1-2 years of Analytical experience. 
•	Intermediate SAS programming skills, with 2-5 years experience in 
a medical setting, preferably working with clinical trial data. 
•	Good understanding of clinical trial practices, procedures and 
methodologies. 
•	Working knowledge of office tools.

•	Attention to detail and correctness.
