>This site provides free access to an article by Ronald F. Inglehart which was published in West European Politics,Vol. 31, Nos. 1–2, 130 – 146, January–March 2008. It analyses data from the world values survey to consider transformations in political culture and values between different generations in West European nations (Britain, France, West Germany, Italy, Belgium and Netherlands) during the period 1970-1996. This provides insight into changing political attitudes and cultural values such as the shift from materialist to post-materialist values.
