Dear Maite,

This should be no problem.  The general rule of thumb is that for any paradigm that lends itself to an SPM analysis, there should also be suitable DCM.  Put simply, DCM is an alternative (and more general) generative model for the same data that one tries to explain when using a GLM.

Best wishes,
Klaas

Betreff: [SPM] DCM question

Dear SPM users,
I have a motor paradigm and I would like to perform a DCM analysis. The problem is that I have no null events in the paradigm, so the baseline is not well modelled and I don't know if this would be a problem when I obtain the F-contrast for each condition.
Is it possible to perform the DCM analysis without null condition?
Thank you very much in advance!
Maite
