If you haven't already booked your free place on the National Council on Archive's 2008 Conference now's your chance.  The NCA has bought together senior professionals and high profile policy makers from the sector to offer you a comprehensive guide to how to exploit evidence to the best advantage for your service.   Led by Roy Clare, CEO of MLA, and Ed Vaisey, Conservative Shadow Culture Minister, the one day Conference will give you the why, how and who to shaping and promoting data such as visitor feedback, PSQG findings and CIPFA stats to enable archives to demonstrate their role in policy agendas, be they public or private.  There'll be four workshops to choose from so that you can learn from other practitioners' experience, as well as lots of opportunities for networking with fellow professionals.

The course is handily located in central  Birmingham and takes place on 17th July. Thanks to MLA's support attendance is free and there's even lunch.  Booking is easy with our on-line reservation service.  With all this on offer how can you afford not to come? Booking closes on 10 July and places are going fast.

The NCA looks forward to welcoming you to Birmingham on the 17th.
