Vacancy for Regional Officer, South of England

The BA South of England Regional Officer

Just a quick reminder that the BA (British Association for the Advancement of Science) is readvertising the position of South of England Regional Officer.

The post holder will support and work with the seven volunteer BA Branches in the South of England to help recruit new branch members, develop links with other local organisations and create exciting and engaging public events programmes. In addition to Branch Support, the post holder will act to promote National Science and Engineering Week and other BA programmes, such as the BA Festival of Science at the University of Surrey in 2009, in their region.

This post is full time, will be based at
INTECH near Winchester, Hampshire and travel around the South of England will be required. The salary is offered circa £19,300 depending on experience. A full job description can be found at www.the-ba.net/jobs.
