Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Skin condition/MRSA policy

Does anyone have an existing policy in place for staff with chronic skin conditions and MRSA screening.

I have recently had a meeting with Infection COntrol who advocated MRSA screening prior to fitness for all clinical staff showing evidence of a skin condition.

I have asked the IC nurse to provide evidence to support this, but would be very interested if anyone else has dealt with this or a similar problem.

Many thanks
