Dear colleague: We are writing to remind you of the 15 August 2008 deadline for submitting abstracts for talks or posters for the International Workshop on Ultrafast Chemical Physics (UCP ’08) to be held at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow on October 30-31st 2008. The two-day conference will encompass the current state of the art in ultrafast chemical physics and include invited seminars and contributions from leading international researchers covering a range of topics. In addition to a full scientific programme, the meeting will include a conference dinner and complementary whisky tasting at a leading Glasgow restaurant. Due to generous sponsorship, there is no registration fee for this meeting and we are pleased to be able to offer travel bursaries for graduate students contributing to the meeting. We would be delighted if you are able to attend this meeting and invite abstract submissions for both poster and oral presentations.
