Strategic professor of MIDWIFERY/physiological obstetrics

Maastricht University (UM) and the University of Midwifery Education & Studies Maastricht (AVMU) has established a strategic midwifery chair. The research will be carried out within the School for Public Health and Primary Care and the Department of Midwifery Science at AVMU.

AVMU offers a high-quality HBO midwifery bachelor’s programme and professional training and sees its core task as further scientifically underpinning the field through applied and fundamental research. Applied research focuses on patient-related clinical research, while fundamental research is oriented to the normal reproductive process. AVMU currently has 220 students and 60 staff. As of 1 September 2008, it will become an autonomous unit within Zuyd University.

Maximum monthly salary: € 6995
