Hi Alex,

Sounds interesting, but will there be any input relevant to teachers of Mandarin at KS1? Seems to be an even more minority area than most.

Subj: Our Languages: FREE regional seminars for Community Languages teachers

Dear all,

Comenius and Our Languages (a project led by a consortium including SSAT, CILT, and NRC) are organising eight FREE Regional Seminars for teachers of Community Languages. The seminars will be useful to any teachers of lesser-taught languages since there will be workshops on Asset Languages accreditation and assessment for learning. The QTS workshops will be of particular interest to colleagues who may be part-time teachers or teaching assistants and may not have QTS.

Further information is available on the Our Languages website at http://www.ourlanguages.org.uk/features_events/events/Event183

I hope you find this useful.
Best wishes,
Alex
