Please see below details of a 9 month maternity cover post within a small FE College. This post would equally suit an experienced Librarian or a newly qualified graduate. The role will provide a good opportunity for a Chartership candidate who wants to gain varied experience in a small and friendly information service, with support and mentoring available as appropriate. Learning Resources Manager - Maternity Cover: A Learning Resources Manager is required for maternity cover to manage the E-Learning Centre and Libraray. Duties will include acquisition of stock, collection development and managing the effective deployment of staff and resources. The post will include working one evening duty during term time. You must have a CILIP accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in Librarianship or Information Science/Management or equivalent. Chartered membership of CILIP and experience of staff supervision and e-learning would be an advantage. Excellent interpersonal, customer services and information technology skills are essential.
