Basic
salary around £30,000 plus achievable commission plan which guarantees your

My
client is an international player in the GIS industry. They boast an extensive range of
geosolutions that span off the shelf and bespoke GIS solutions, spatial data
management tools and configurable analytical products.
Business
results have increased by 20% year on year since 2000 and this growth pattern is
set to continue. They wish to
underpin this buoyant picture by hiring an enthusiastic and confident GIS
professional who has gained some sales or sales support experience and who
wishes to make a career for themselves in GIS sales.
The
deal is a two way street. You bring
the energy, keeness and ambition and the client provides the investment and
training that will polish your skills and professionalism, moulding you into a
well paid and respected business person. They'll provide the
infrastructure that supports your activity.
Ideally
they’d like someone who has already worked in sales but if you are currently in
a customer-facing job within GIS and you believe you can step up into sales
don’t hesitate in applying.
In
all cases they want a person who enjoys finding out what the customer wants to
achieve from their investment?
Someone who sees a solution, not a problem and who has the credibility
and stature to engage senior decision-makers and put forward pragmatic ideas
that will work. Someone who can put
together a blockbusting proposal that is both compelling and technically
deliverable. Someone who gets
excited about the possibilities for GIS?
