New Business Sales Generator-NHS and Healthcare focus

Job Reference-240708-DENBS

Job location-Home based anywhere in southeast England

Basic Salary around £40,000 plus very achievable open-ended commission system

The Company

My client is a fast growing SME, with specialist capabilities within the expanding markets of digital mapping and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).  They provide solutions for a wide range of markets through applying geography and location intelligence to business problems.  Earlier this year the company won a tender to provide data and services to the NHS through a framework agreement and this appointment has been created specifically to maximise the incredible business opportunity this presents.

As a high growth company, they do not believe in rigid hierarchies, instead they believe the employee is the one who should decide how far they progress.  If you achieve the results you’ll be paid in direct relation to how successful you are being.

The Position

The position of New Business Sales Generator is a permanent appointment and offers an exceptional opportunity to a high activity sales person which will allow them to earn the sort of money they feel they are truly worth.  The only critical attribute required, apart from sales experience is practical knowledge of the supply procedures for the NHS and it’s associated trusts and agencies

The appointed individual will work as part of the business development team but will be largely a free agent working from home and reporting into the Managing Director.

You’ll handle inbound and outbound activity in support of the business development process.  This comprises contacting the decision makers within Primary Care Trusts and Strategic Health Authorities to determine their requirements for digital data and GIS services within the context of the framework agreement.

The territory will span from Reading in the west, north as far as Luton and across to coastal Kent and Sussex.

There will be some travel within the UK to clients’ premises but in the early stages of employment the job will be totally home-based with the main contact being via telephone, email and letter.  There will be a requirement to go to the Head Office in the West Midlands but only on a 2-3 days a month basis.

Throughout the year there will be user group meetings, exhibitions and seminars and it is likely that this individual will participate to some extent in the organising or manning of the event.

The Person

The person appointed must have experience of the sales and business tendering process within the NHS and it’s agencies.  You must also understand the geospatial market, in particular data and mapping.  You will have good communication skills and be familiar with the use of MS Office technology and the internet

Interested, then please submit a copy of your CV in Word format to the writer, Alan Carnell.  His email address is [log in to unmask].  You have my word that your application will be treated in the strictest of confidence and none of my clients will be made aware of your details without your prior agreement.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY APPLIED TO CONCURRENT APPOINTMENTS IN THE PAST 3 MONTHS THEN YOU NEED NOT APPLY AGAIN.

YOU ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU HOLD A PASSPORT FROM AN EU COUNTRY OR YOU POSSESS A VALID UK WORK VISA.
