GIS Technician - Wales - 6 Months Generic is currently seeking a GIS Technician to work on a data migration project. This role would be ideally suited to candidates who have a degree in geography or who have worked with GIS technologies in the past. An ideal candidate will have worked with GIS within a utilities company. A good understanding of maps is essential. Initially you will be required to undertake administration of digitisation work but you will progress to being involved with GI queries and quality assurance of digitising work. It is an ideal opportunity for graduates to gain some initial experience in a commercial environment.
