Partner Programme Sales Manager

Basic Salary around £50,000 plus £30,000 bonus for on quota performance. Car/Car Allowance

 

The continued market growth and expansion of my client’s business plan both in the UK and internationally has, in no small part, been due to the success of their indirect channels business initiative. This initiative is open to organisations with particular vertical market expertise and enables them to offer into the UK and Worldwide markets solutions that integrate best in class technology within the geospatial industry.  Within the UK, this programme is now very well established with Business Partners making a significant contribution to the continuing expansion of the company’s user community both in the UK and overseas.

They are now seeking to appoint a sales and marketing professional to be responsible for identifying and building profitable business relationships with leading UK software houses and application vendors as well as maximising the relationships with Solutions Partners who are already members of their partner programme.  The appointee will be required to identify solution partners who already own or who are developing vertically aligned application software programs which can be integrated into the client’s product portfolio or will benefit from being ported into the greater strategic framework.  Additionally the Partner Sales Manager will be looking to evaluate other potential business opportunities and from them recruit new partners whose products will benefit from the application of the World’s market leading GI technology.

The successful candidate, will also be expected to work closely with, and support the direct sales effort as well as promoting and improving the products and services available from members of the partner programme. The successful will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of the program and for ensuring that in its structure and operation it meets the business requirements of both the Partners themselves.


This strategic and challenging role will suit individuals with a strong background in the very dynamic spatially based national infrastructure, and services market place. The package on offer will be commensurate with the importance of the position and the experience demonstrated by the candidate.

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

• Candidates will need to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years successful performance, ideally in a software related company. This should comprise a mixture of relationship management and marketing experience, and the development and maintenance of business to business account management.
• Detailed knowledge of geographic information systems is not essential but is desirable; more important is an ability to quickly develop a good understanding of key application fundamentals across specific vertical markets, and therefore assess the most appropriate support infrastruture for each individual partner.
• The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate considerable success in building and maintaining successful inter-company and interpersonal relationships across a number of sectors of industry and commerce.
• The successful candidate should have experience of developing and presenting technical and marketing based seminars to selected audiences

 

 

Salary & Benefits

 

Basic salary of between £35,000 and £50,000 which is paid monthly in arrears plus either a quarterly or annual bonus system allied to achievement of business plan and objectives or a target revenue-based commission system for territory sales personnel.  The benefits package also includes a personal health care plan, membership of a company contributory pension scheme after a qualifying period, life assurance and free membership to a fitness club
