NOKIA: Map Design/Digital Cartography Specialist (Berlin)

Join our fast growing, highly motivated international team as a Map Design/Digital Cartography Specialist. You will provide map design expertise for various platforms- mobile, desktop and web- to create a unique, innovative and attractive customer experience for our global users. You will be responsible for the holistic user experience from concepting new attributes and features to their documentation and launch. You will work collaboratively with our software development team and product managers to produce the market leading product and monitor market trends to ensure our products continue to lead the market. You will also research and develop both new and existing cartographic data sources.

The position is based in Berlin, Germany. No knowledge of German required.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Understanding of and passion for the personal navigation device (PND) and web mapping market
• At least 1- 2 years experience in digital mapping and map/graphic design preferably for mobile devices or web applications
• Skilled user of Illustrator, Photoshop and ideally multiple mapping packages
• Bachelor or Masters in Cartography, Geography, Graphic Design or closely related field
• Drive for excellence and comfort working independently with little supervision
