Hi, This is a follow-up on my message earlier about the dgamma in JAGS. It was a documentation error which got fixed in the latest version of the JAGS manual. "dgamma(r,mu)" is used in JAGS the same way as in WinBUGS. Thanks to Martyn Plummer, Reza ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Martyn Plummer <[log in to unmask]> Date: Mon, Jun 30, 2008 at 12:45 AM Subject: Re: dgamma in WinBUGS and JAGS (rjags) To: Seyed Reza Jafarzadeh <[log in to unmask]> Cc: [log in to unmask] It's just a typo. There are no hidden incompatibilities between JAGS and WinBUGS. If a model runs it should produce the same answer. Since JAGS uses the BUGS language, I was wondering if > this is a typo or it is in fact different from WinBUGS. > > > Thanks, > Reza ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This message and its attachments are strictly confidential.
