The Mobility & Rehabilitation
Service in Aberdeen
is looking to recruit a Bioengineer to their multidisciplinary team. The
Bioengineer’s role will include clinical patient assessments,
specification, design and fitting of technical solutions to mobility and
seating problems and managing the ongoing care of an individual caseload.
This is a busy department and the Bioengineer will face daily challenges in
managing a complex caseload within limited resources but they will have
friendly support from their colleagues in the clinical, administrative and
technical teams.
Candidates will ideally have a
postgraduate degree in Bioengineering or in a related science discipline or
will have completed their Grade A training with experience in a clinical
department. They will be expected to be working towards or will have
achieved registration as a State Registered Clinical Scientist.
Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Grade Band 6 - £24103 to
£32653 Per Annum
