It probably will not have
escaped your notice that John Bercow published his report on Tuesday, the 'mainstream' aspects of it got
into the news. The report also incorporates lots of recommendations across
the range of speech/language/communication needs, including recommendations on
Augmentative and Alternative Communication
(AAC).

This looks positive I
think, CM will continue to work to ensure the recommendations
get implemented including consulting with the DFES and John Bercow (who is
presenting a plenary at this years CM
conference). Any pressure people can exert now to get the government to
actually implement the recommendations would be good!
