Dear all
May be I am missing something but following Elizabeth’s link I cannot find any way of accessing the draft code in order to read it never mind comment on it.
If anyone has found how to access it can you let me know
Thanks
Nigel

Subject: Cultural Collections Management Code of Practice - PAS 197: consultation reponses by 31 July 2008
BSI British Standards is developing a code of practice that contains recommendations for a generic approach to the management of cultural collections. It is applicable to all types of public and private collecting institutions (such as museums, archives and libraries) and all types of tangible and intangible cultural collections (such as books, electronic records, papers, specimens and artefacts).
Further relevant information is provided at:http://www.bsi-global.com/en/Standards-and-Publications/How-we-can-help-you/Professional-Standards-Service/PAS-197/
Responses to the consultation must be submitted by 31 July 2008. The Society of Archivists is in the process of providing comments on the draft Code and is keen to draw the draft Code to a wider audience given its significance to the archive community. Please do feed back any comments directly to my email account for incorporation into the SoA response, as appropriate.
