Not a cheerful Friday message I am afraid just a reminder to us all how threatened the archives that we are privileged to look after can be. I thought I would alert everyone to the problems facing Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archives. It appears that the collection will be split up and its future and accessibility far from certain.
