For those of you who might be interested, History Today has just published my article entitled "Free the Planet". In this article, I trace a link between climate change and slavery, and suggest that reliance on fossil fuels has made slave owners of us all. It is a bit provocative, and a much shortened version of a longer article, but I'm always interested to read comments or criticism.
