Dear Vicki,

We have just developed a hand held multi-media guide in partnership with the University of Salford.  It is in our 'Connecting Manchester' gallery, about the history of communication.  Extra information is delivered through a pda, including text, images, oral history and films.  There is some information about this on our website, but if you want a bit more detail, drop me a line and I will put you in touch with a colleague here who can tell you more.

Cheers,

Subject: [SHCG-LIST] hand held guides

Hello,

We are considering using hand held guides to tell the history of the Royal Pump Rooms in Leamington Spa through the stories of those who were both patients and practitioners at the NHS unit that was here. We are looking for a guide that can support oral history, images and maps and has some level of interactivity.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Vicki
