Hello
we have just installed new Mon box with SL4 x86_64 and gLite 3.1 x86_64.
We have a problem with tomcat5. When we are trying to start it, it starts,
but service tomcat5 status shows
/etc/tomcat5/tomcat5.conf
lock file found but no process running for pid 5953
in /var/log/tomcat5/catalina.out we see
Using CATALINA_BASE: /usr/share/tomcat5
Using CATALINA_HOME: /usr/share/tomcat5
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /usr/share/tomcat5/temp
Using JRE_HOME:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/apache/commons/logging/LogFactory
at
org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap.<clinit>(Bootstrap.java:54)
Any help in solving this problem is much appreciated.
