Try contacting Access to Work and/or the RNID who will come to the workplace and assess the situation in context of her specific condition and will give appropriate advice.  I have found them invaluable in these situations

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Hearing aid

Please can someone shed some light?.
I have a client who is a call center agent and uses head phones all the time. She has experienced hearing impairment necessitating the use of a hearing aid.

Any ideas on what adaptations need to be done to enable her to continue in her role of taking calls and responding to customers. I have looked up the 'loop system' but not quite sure how this will assist in her doing her job effectively.


Any input will be greatly appreciated.
