Also "Access to Work " often use someone from the RNID for workplace assessments if they have a hearing impairment. Access to work might also assist with funding if required. She should be able to continue the role with the correct equipment. I have a client who is a call center agent and uses head phones all the time. She has experienced hearing impairment necessitating the use of a hearing aid. Any ideas on what adaptations need to be done to enable her to continue in her role of taking calls and responding to customers. I have looked up the 'loop system' but not quite sure how this will assist in her doing her job effectively. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
