Message from the MIST mailing list.

Dear all: further to Mike's email announcing the launch of the MIST
discussion forum, I have one extra announcement/request.

To register, go to http://ukmist.activeboard.com/ and click on the
"New Member" link in the Members Login box (top right). You will then
be asked for some information (Name, email address, your choice of
username/password).

It would be helpful if you could choose a username that actually
includes your full name, as it will be your username that appears
alongside your postings. This way, other users (who won't have access
to your personal information) will know who is saying what. As you
can imagine, postings about STFC policy or MIST business from
"pixie_flower_1985" or "Solihull_ringmaster" are not helpful. I
exaggerate of course, but I'm sure you take the point.

For folks who have registered already with non-name usernames, I will
amend your usernames and be in touch ASAP.

Cheers, Jim
