Dear All,

With over 120 delegates, speakers and exhibitors already attending this
year's Chinese conference, it looks set to be an exciting day. To view
the companies exhibiting at the conference, visit
www.schoolsnetwork.org.uk/chineseconference

But don't worry if you haven't booked your place yet, there's still time
and places available. You don't have to come to both 20 and 21 June; you
can just come for the Saturday 21 June conference, which will follow the
format of previous years.

The full-day conference on Saturday 21 June at Kingsford Community
School and Language College, London, includes:

* A new to China strand, a primary strand, a strong music
strand, a KS5 strand, as well as the usual strong offering for teachers
of KS3/4

* A music and dance performance

* A keynote from the Minister Counsellor of Education, Embassy
of the People's Republic of China in the United Kingdom

* An exhibition containing lots of resources and ideas, with a
dedicated time for visiting exhibitors

* Networking opportunities with Confucius classrooms and
colleagues

In addition, there is also the option to attend the opening plenary and
conference dinner, starting on the afternoon of Friday 20 June. This
features a keynote by the British Museum about their new travelling
exhibition 'China: Journey to the East' and will give ideas of lesson
plans and activities to do with students before a visit to the
exhibition at museums across the country is made.
