Dear all, Project Officer, Learning and Information Services (Fixed-term 6 months) Learning and Information Services Liverpool John Moores University £23,002 - £27,466 per annum Reference: A2542 We have funding for a six-month project to investigate student use of new learning technologies in higher education. The project officer will carry out in-depth research in this area by reviewing the literature, interviewing relevant members of LJMU staff and surveying student learning activities. The resulting report will inform LIS planning for new learning spaces and support for e-learning in LJMU. Candidates require a degree, excellent communication skills including report writing and the ability to plan and manage their time working to project deadlines. An awareness and interest in the use of new technologies such as Web 2.0, social networking and mobile devices is essential.
