Hi,

I'm trying to get out first IdP setup, but have run into a problem with
Tomcat and the shibboleth-idp webapp.

I've run ./ant in shibboleth-1.3.3-install. Installing
shibboleth-idp.war into webapps under /usr/local/tomcat/. It is
apparently deployed correctly, creating the directory
/usr/local/tomcat/webapps/shibboleth-idp/

However, when I try to test this by browsing to tomcat directly via
http://localhost:8080/shibboleth-idp/SSO/ I get the following error:

> HTTP Status 404 - /shibboleth-idp/SSO/
>
> type Status report
>
> message /shibboleth-idp/SSO/
>
> description The requested resource (/shibboleth-idp/SSO/) is not available.
> Apache Tomcat/5.5.26

Browsing to http://localhost:8080/shibboleth-idp/login.jsp correctly
returns the contents of that file. It looks to me that the
shibboleth-idp/WEB-INF/web.xml isn't being processed properly.

Any suggestions where I should look at my tomcat config?

Thanks,
