A couple of recent e-mails have implied that the value of "waytotal.txt"
represents the number of streamlines that make it from the seed mask to the
target mask. However, the web documentation describes it as the number of
streamlines that are not rejected by an exclusion mask, which is not
precisely the same thing. Can you clarify this?

In either case, mightn't a max intensity that is greater than waytotal.txt
(see topic Waytotal/max intensity of fdt_paths) be explained by streamlines
that pass once through the voxel of maximum intensity (likely close to the
seed mask) but then veer away and miss the target?
