Dear Angela,

We have had batches of tins in a range of sizes made by various suppliers here in the Portsmouth area - usually small engineering companies with a gap in their order book. It might be worth showing a sample tin to one or more of your local firms and asking for a quote. Otherwise I will be happy to pass on names, addresses and prices from our suppliers.

Bets wishes

David

Dear Lisa,

there is also allspice from a late 18th century latrine at Greifswald, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, eastern Germany.
