10-month fixed-term Lectureship:
We are inviting applications for a 10-month fixed-term Lectureship in Archaeology for the 2008-9 academic year, replacing Dr Peter Jordan who will be on research
leave. Candidates with teaching experience in the fields of world archaeology, British prehistory and material culture studies are particularly encouraged to apply, and we would welcome candidates from both the humanities- and science-based branches of the
discipline. The successful candidate will also complement and extend existing research strengths in Archaeology such as northern and circumpolar societies, hunter-gatherer studies, ancient mentalities, religions and world-views and landscape analysis. Application
