This evening I have looked at a winch which was acquired from Ridge Hill barytes mine, Shropshire when it closed. The winch is of cast iron and has 'A' cast onto the left hand end frame and '11A' on the right hand one, do these marking suggest a possible maker to anyone. Mike Shaw
