**Apologies for cross-posting** There is still an opportunity for you to attend CILIP in Scotland's Centenary Conference 2008, held at Peebles Hydro from Tue 3 - Thu 5 June. As well as celebrating one hundred years of a professional librarianship organisation in Scotland, this 3-day conference will look at future needs and developments in Scottish library and information services. As part of the conference CILIPS is also welcoming colleagues from the USA, Estonia and Finland, providing a great opportunity to learn from each other. Highlights of the conference include: * Dr Bill Harvey discussing the development of skills for Scotland through regeneration. * Käri Lamsä talking about Library 10, Helsinki's dynamic music and IT centre, and how it engages with communities. * Dave Pattern looking at how Web 2.0 can be incorporated into OPACs. * T.
