Dear Nick,
One of the papers at the Medieval Visual
Culture Seminar this term is on medieval maps of Jerusalem. I would be very
grateful indeed if you could circulate the following details to the friends of
TOSCA.
Dr Hanna Vorholt (Warburg
Institute, London) will give a paper entitled "Copying the Holy Land: Remarks on
some English maps of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries" at the Medieval
Visual Culture Seminar on Thursday of 6th week (29th May). The seminar
takes place between 13.00 and 14.00 in the Goodhart Seminar
Room, University College, Oxford. Please feel free to bring a
sandwich lunch.
