You will also have, or will be about to obtain, a doctoral degree, and will have a record of published research, or evidence of forthcoming publications, and firm plans for future research. We have a preference for someone with expertise in visual/material culture, but the position is open to people with a research specialism in any area of Classical Studies. You will be expected to teach across a range of areas other than your research specialism, including Greek and/or Latin language. An understanding of the nature of the Faculty’s courses and of the needs of adult learners is desirable.
