The Folio Team and Project Apple are delighted to present: FOLIAGE- Clinical Question Answering Skills for Librarians Foliage is a brand new combined e-learning and face-to-face course designed for NHS library and information professionals who are skilled in literature searching and who wish to build on these skills to develop a high level of competency in clinical question answering. Based on the highly successful FOLIO series of courses, Foliage will provide you with a range of skills essential to developing evidence-based answers to clinical questions, such as filtering, appraising and digesting high-quality literature. Materials will be delivered via the 'Moodle' virtual learning environment and <LEFT SINGLE QUOTATION MARK>rest days<RIGHT SINGLE QUOTATION MARK> are built in. This unique, flexible online format will enable participants to work at their own pace and to fit their learning around their working patterns. Face-to-face workshops will take place across the country to ensure they are as accessible as possible. Places on the course are sponsored by the National Library for Health Continuing Development Programme and are offered without charge to participants from libraries serving NHS clinical staff (including NLH Specialist libraries).
